Over recent years Byron Bay have been known for their effortlessly cool and beachy vibes. The laid-back attitude coming from the small costal town in New South Wales makes it impossible not to fall in love with. In the lead up to my visit to Byron Bay in August, I have been obsessing over the bohemian style clothing seen there. Spotted amongst the chaos in Byron Bay are influencers such Mimi Elashiry, Cartia Mallan and model, Ingrid Wiliams.

Inspired by the these influencers, I have concluded that the ultimate Byron Bay uniform is a classic graphic tee and wide leg pants (Bonus points if they are denim)! Minimal accessories have been added however, I paired some brown mules to a make the outfit just a little bit more wearable!

In other exciting news, it is school holidays! Super exciting, so remember to add me on snapchat (@reneenotrenae) to follow me on all my little adventures!

Spread love.

PLAID + World’s Greatest Shave Update

Wearing: Windsor Smith Metz Boots, The Fifth Cami, Jacket Unknown, Mum’s scarf, Gap Belt, Minimalist Jewellery Earrings, Jorge Jeans.

Hello hello,

Welcome to Renee Not Renae!!

Today I had the sweetest Mother’s Day with the family. So a big shout out to all the mums out there including mine! xxx Thank you.

Recently, I picked up this grunge-d up cami from The Fifth the Label, and I am in love. Paired back with basic denim boyfriend jeans, a textured scarf and perfect black boots (Would highly recommend if you are looking for a really versatile pair of boots). Also, a massive thank to Maisie for these stunning earrings from Minimalist Jewellery. There is nothing like simple statement earrings to complete any outfit.

The progress that I have made over the past months for the World’s Greatest Shave has been incredible. I have gained enormous support, that I am truely grateful for. With a major fundraiser still to come, I am excited to see how much money we can raise for the Leukaemia Foundation. Feel free to make a donation at Much appreciated.

In regards to the ‘shaving’ of my hair, I was unable to completely shave it, due to some circumstances. However, I am so happy with the results. I was still able to give my hair to a charity, which will then turn it in to a wig for patients suffering from cancer.

Together we can make a large impact on the world cancer.

Please, give generously and don’t forget to treat your mum!

It’s that time of the year again. Over the past two weekends Coachella has been featuring all over my insta feed, and with Groovin the Moo happening this weekend, there is no doubt I have them ‘Festival Feels’.

After a road trip to Adelaide today, my friend, Chloe, and I are ready to adventure to  Oakbank tomorrow for Groovin the Moo. With excitement running through us, there is no doubt that the day is going to be filled with fun!!!!!!!!!

With festival style all around, I wondered to the thrift shop to hunt for my own festival get up. Along the way, I picked up a black and pink lace dress, layered with a simple black crop. Paired with a denim jacket, them chilly festival nights will be a breeze. (Get it!! Because a breeze is quite chilly ahahah)..

Outfit two features the perfect flowing skirt, that I can not stop spinning in!! It is perfect  for a music festival, and even better with the same over sized denim jacket and accessory overload! I love it!!

If you’re going to Groovin the Moo this weekend make sure to get your groove thang on!!!!! + have fun!

The Glorious City of Melbourne

Luna Park

Just me inhaling donuts..

Melbourne street art is so cute!!

The city of Melbourne is a glorious place filled with glorious moments!

(Really loving that word, ‘glorious’.)

Last weekend, (or was it the weekend before?), I was fortunate enough to travel to Melbourne over the weekend for the Moomba Festival. During my time in Melbourne I spent my days wondering the streets of Melbourne’s inner city and banks of the Yarra River. With a family packed with enthusiastic water skiers, e.g. dad and my brother, we sat by the waters edge watching the World Champions do their thing. It was incredible to see some amazing skiing over the duration of the weekend, with a big shout out to all that competed in the sweet event. Along with the skiing my sister and I made a good effort to get to the skating during the Moomba Festival. Wait… did I say skating? I meant Starbucks. The festival was packed full of some great little events including the skiing, skating and I couldn’t forget the Birdman Rally! But, boy, I wouldn’t want to be jumping in to the Yarra!

Another festival happening whilst I was in Melbourne was the VAMFF (Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival). Although, I didn’t get to the festival, the shows looked all very successful, with some incredible labels making an appearance. VAMFF is now officially on my bucket list*.

After my quick trip to Melbourne I can not wait to go back to the glorious city to explore some more!

*Check out the page titled ‘Bucket List’. This is where I will be ticking off all the adventures and experiences that I want to do before I die!

Happy Easter!

Here it is! The collaboration we have all been waiting for, MAYPOLE X RENEENOTRENAE.

How good are these necklaces from Maypole Design? Maisie, the owner of Maypole Designs, and I have come together to bring to you this exciting collaboration. Over the coming weeks we will be releasing more content as this is only part 1 of an exciting 3 part series.

First up, we have started with quite a summer-y little outfit featuring Maypole’s Harlo Three Tassel Necklace in Black. Paired back with the cutest top evaaa from Madison Square Clothing and some high waisted suede shorts. You can never go wrong with the minimalist style of this necklace. In my opinion, this necklace of Maypole’s can be matched with anything that you have in your wardrobe.

Check back over the next few weeks for more shoots on our collaboration! There is some good stuff coming. You’ll want to stick around!

(With a lazy casual day tomorrow, I can not wait to get up and  chuck my uggys on ahahah)

Have a good week! + get excited for too much chocolate over the easter weekend.
